How much does a website cost in Trinidad and Tobago?
A single-page site for a new business starts at $2,500 TTD. Most multi-page business sites land around $5,500 TTD. An online store with payments and inventory starts around $9,000 TTD. The final number follows your pages, integrations, and content. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
GeneralHow do I get started with a web design project?
Book a free 15-minute call. We talk through your goals and recommend the right package. To start, we ask for a 50% deposit and send a Content Guide that lists exactly what to share. We handle design, development, and launch from there.
GeneralWhat makes Webitt different from other web design companies?
We match the stack to the project instead of forcing everyone into one tool. WordPress when your team wants a familiar editor. Astro or Next.js when speed and custom UX matter. WordPress and WooCommerce sites on our care plans run on private cloud, not crowded shared hosting. SEO setup and analytics come standard on every build.
GeneralCan I update my website myself after it is built?
Yes. We pick a CMS that fits the build. WordPress if you want a familiar editor. Astro or a headless CMS when performance matters more. You get a training video so you can update text, swap images, and publish. If you would rather not touch it, our Site Plans cover routine edits.
GeneralDo you build ecommerce websites?
Yes. Our Storefront package covers catalog, cart, checkout, and inventory, with payment gateways like WiPay, Stripe, PayPal, Fygaro, PowerTranz, and PayWise where your checkout needs them. Most stores take about three to four weeks from kickoff when product data and approvals stay on schedule.
GeneralHow long does a website take to build?
Starter is about 10 business days. Authority runs about 10 to 14 business days. Storefront is usually three to four weeks when payments and shipping are involved. The calendar moves when content or sign-offs slip, not because we are stuck on code.
GeneralWho hosts my website, and what does maintenance cost?
It depends on the stack. WordPress and WooCommerce sites usually land on our managed care infrastructure for backups, updates, and speed. Marketing sites on Astro or similar often deploy to Vercel or hosting we define in scope. Starter and Authority include one month of hosting; Storefront includes six. After that, WordPress care plans start around $1,500 TTD/month if you want us to keep managing it. You own the site either way.
GeneralDo you only work with businesses in Trinidad and Tobago?
No. Most clients are in Trinidad and Tobago, but we also work across the Caribbean (Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, Bahamas) and directly with US businesses. We white-label web design and development for US and UK agencies too. Everything is managed remotely.
GeneralWhat if I do not have a logo or content ready yet?
You do not need everything before the first call. Logo design is $800 TTD and professional copywriting is $300 TTD per page as add-ons. We can use quality stock images until you have real photography. We send a Content Guide after deposit so you know what to supply and when.
GeneralHow much does a website cost?
It depends on what you need. A single-page site for a new business starts around $2,500 TTD. A multi-page site built to rank and generate leads is typically around $5,500 TTD. An online store with payments and inventory starts around $9,000 TTD. Use the USD toggle on the pricing page if you need a US-dollar reference. We custom-build every site on a high-performance stack so your investment supports revenue, not unnecessary bloat.
Pricing & packagesWho is responsible for my website copy, photos, and approvals?
You stay the expert on your business: you approve anything that goes live. We give you a simple Content Guide with prompts, deadlines, and what we need from you (text, logo files, team photos, product details). We build structure, layout, and technical SEO foundations. Professional copywriting is available as an add-on if you want us to draft or polish page text, and we can use quality stock images where real photography is not ready yet. The most common delay is not development; it is waiting on final copy or a sign-off round.
Pricing & packagesHow long does a website build take, and what usually slows it down?
Starter is typically about 10 business days. Authority is usually 10 to 14 business days. Storefront is typically 3 to 4 weeks depending on product count and payment or shipping integrations. Those ranges assume you hit the content and feedback dates we agree in writing. When approvals or assets slip, the calendar moves with them. Builds are managed remotely for Caribbean and US clients.
Pricing & packagesWho hosts my website after launch, and do I have to stay with Webitt?
You are not locked in on the build itself. You own the site and content. Where the files live after go-live depends on the stack we agreed: WordPress and WooCommerce often roll into our managed WordPress care plans for speed, backups, and security, but we can help you migrate to another host if you prefer to self-manage. Marketing sites on Astro or similar ship to the hosting we define in your scope (often Vercel or your cloud). Included hosting matches your package: Starter and Authority include one month; Storefront includes six months. After that you choose a care plan, continue month-to-month as quoted, or move, with DNS and handover documented so there are no surprises.
Pricing & packagesWhat if I do not have content or photos ready?
We still move forward. We give you a clear checklist, use placeholders where it makes sense, and offer professional copywriting as an add-on if you want us to handle page text. Stock imagery can bridge gaps until you have real photography.
Pricing & packagesCan I accept credit card payments on my online store?
Yes. The Storefront package includes e-commerce with payment gateway integration: Stripe, PayPal, WiPay, Fygaro, PowerTranz, PayWise, or card processing. We configure what fits your business.
Pricing & packagesWhy is managed WordPress hosting priced higher than budget shared hosting?
Budget hosts put many sites on one shared pool. Our WordPress care plans use private cloud resources, proactive security, daily backups, and monitoring tuned for WordPress and WooCommerce. You pay for reliability and a team that responds when something breaks, not just disk space.
Pricing & packagesCan I update the website myself after it is built?
Yes. Your build includes an editor or content workflow matched to your stack. Authority includes a short CMS training video and Storefront includes a longer session covering products and orders.
Pricing & packagesDo I own the website after it is built?
Yes. You own the site and your content. No lock-in on the build. It is a one-time investment with clear handover.
Pricing & packagesWhat happens on the web strategy consultation call?
You tell us about your business and what you are trying to solve. We ask questions, review what you have, give honest feedback, and recommend a clear direction, whether you are based in Trinidad & Tobago, the Caribbean, or the United States.
Strategy consultationHow long is the consultation?
30 to 45 minutes usually. Long enough to get into the real issues, short enough to respect your time.
Strategy consultationDo I have to hire Webitt after the consultation?
Not at all. The advice is yours regardless. If we are a good fit after the call, great. If not, you still leave with a clearer picture of what to do next.
Strategy consultationIs the web strategy consultation really free?
Yes. No catch, no hidden pitch at the end. We offer a free first call because we would rather spend 30 minutes understanding your situation before either of us commits to anything.
Strategy consultationHow do I book a consultation?
Hit the Book a Free Call button and pick a time that works for you. We serve clients in Trinidad & Tobago, the Caribbean, and the United States. All calls are done remotely via video.
Strategy consultationWill the call cover timeline, budget, and who supplies content?
Yes. Expect straight talk on rough schedule bands, what you would likely invest for the fit we see, and what you need to supply versus what we produce (copy, design, integrations). If we need a follow-up to lock a fixed quote or a written timeline, we say that on the call so you are not guessing.
Strategy consultationHow much does a website cost?
Every project is priced to scope. Our standard website packages start at $2,500 TTD for a clean one-page site and run to $9,000 TTD for a full online store, with most business sites landing somewhere in between. Larger custom builds, web apps, and third-party integrations are quoted after a short call. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Web design & developmentHow long does it take to design and build a website?
Most websites take about 4 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch. A focused one-page site can be ready in around 10 business days, while multi-page sites, stores, and custom features take longer. The biggest variable is how quickly content and feedback come back to us, so we map a realistic timeline together before any work starts.
Web design & developmentDo I need to provide content (text, images, logos), or do you create it?
Either works. If you already have finished copy, photos, and a logo, we design around them. If you do not, we can write the copy and source or create the visuals as part of the project. We tell you up front exactly what we need from you and when, so the build never stalls waiting on content.
Web design & developmentWill my website be mobile-friendly and optimized for search engines (SEO)?
Yes. Every site we build is mobile-first and tested across phones, tablets, and desktops. Search visibility is built in from the start: clean structure, fast load times, proper metadata and schema, and indexing on Google Search Console. We build for how people actually find and use your site, not just how it looks on a laptop.
Web design & developmentWhat happens after the website launches? Do you offer maintenance or support?
We do not disappear at launch. You can choose a care plan that covers updates, backups, security patches, and priority support, or take full ownership and manage the site yourself. Either way the site is 100% yours and we hand over everything you need to run it.
Web design & developmentDo you build custom websites or use pre-made templates?
We build custom. Your site is designed around your brand, your content, and the actions you want visitors to take, rather than forced into a generic theme. That means more flexibility and a site that actually fits your business. When a CMS like WordPress is the right fit for your team, we build it on a clean custom setup, not a bloated page builder.
Web design & developmentDo I own my website, domain, and content?
Yes, 100%. The domain stays in your name, the content is yours, and you receive the full codebase and admin access at handover. We do not lock you into proprietary systems or hold anything hostage. If you ever move on, everything you need to run or migrate the site goes with you.
Web design & developmentCan you redesign or rebuild my existing website?
Yes. Redesigns are a large part of what we do. We audit your current site for speed, structure, SEO, and conversion gaps, keep what is working, and rebuild the rest on a clean, modern foundation. Where possible we preserve your existing rankings and URLs so you do not lose hard-won search visibility in the move.
Web design & developmentHow do payments and deposits work?
Most projects start with a 50% deposit to lock in your slot and begin work, with the balance due before launch. Larger builds are split into milestone payments tied to approved stages. There are no hidden fees: the quote you approve after our call is the price you pay.
Web design & developmentWhat counts as a web application instead of a website?
Marketing sites mostly inform and convert visitors. Web applications are interactive software in the browser: logins and roles, dashboards, workflows, data entry, integrations with your APIs or third-party tools, and experiences people use repeatedly. If users do work inside the product, it is usually an app.
Web applicationsWhat do you build web apps with?
We choose the stack for maintainability and fit, often Next.js or Astro with React for the UI, plus APIs, databases, and auth as the project needs. We align the tech with your hosting, compliance, and long-term roadmap.
Web applicationsHow long does a web application project take?
Scope drives timing. A focused internal tool might take a few weeks; a multi-role portal or MVP with integrations often runs several weeks to a few months. We give a realistic timeline and milestones after discovery.
Web applicationsCan you integrate with our existing systems?
Usually yes, when vendors expose stable APIs or exports. We map integrations in discovery, define auth and data flow, and build with error handling and monitoring so production use stays reliable.
Web applicationsDo you host and maintain web applications?
We can deploy to platforms that suit the stack such as Vercel, managed Node hosting, or your cloud. For ongoing updates, security, and reliability, we can scope a support plan after launch.
Web applicationsWho owns hosting, domains, and the codebase after launch?
You own your product data, accounts, and, per contract, typically the application repository and deployment configuration we delivered. Domains stay in your registrar; we help with DNS. Hosting may sit in your cloud account or ours depending on what we agreed: either way, access, env vars, and backups are documented at handover so you can operate or port the app without a hostage situation.
Web applicationsHow do you price web application work?
After discovery we quote phased milestones, typically approved UX, then build slices you verify on staging, then launch and handover. You know what is in scope before we commit serious production engineering.
Web applicationsWhen is a custom web application the wrong move?
If a solid off-the-shelf tool already fits your process with little compromise, we will say so. We are most useful when roles, workflows, data, or integrations need to match how you actually operate.
Web applicationsWhat is included in your SEO services?
Our SEO services cover technical audits, keyword and content strategy, on-page optimization, internal linking, performance fixes, local SEO for the Caribbean and US markets you serve, and regular reporting. The exact scope is tailored after we review your site and goals.
SEOHow long do SEO services take to show results?
Meaningful movement usually starts in 3 to 6 months, depending on competition, your site's starting point, and how quickly we can implement changes. SEO is a compounding investment. We set expectations in the strategy call and report on progress monthly.
SEODo you offer local SEO for the Caribbean and the US?
Yes. We optimize for local search intent, including Trinidad & Tobago where relevant, plus wider Caribbean and US markets: Google Business Profile alignment, local landing pages, and location-specific keyword targeting alongside broader SEO strategy.
SEOHow do SEO services compare to paid ads?
Paid ads stop the day you stop paying. SEO builds durable visibility in organic search results. Most businesses use both: ads for immediate demand and SEO for sustainable, cost-effective traffic over time.
SEOHow do you measure SEO success?
We track rankings for target terms, organic traffic, engagement, and conversions tied to your goals, not vanity metrics. You get clear monthly reporting so you can see exactly how SEO is contributing to your business.
SEODo I have to write all the SEO content myself?
No. You stay the subject-matter expert; we turn your knowledge into briefs, headings, internal links, and on-page structure. You can supply drafts, we can recommend rewrites, or we can bring copy support as an add-on. Scope defines who drafts each page so responsibilities are clear before work starts.
SEODo you work on a monthly retainer or project basis?
Often both: a focused project for technical and on-page fixes, then a lighter monthly cadence for measurement, iteration, and new content. Scope depends on your site size, competition, and how fast you can implement.
SEOWhat do you need from us to start?
Access to Search Console and Analytics (or equivalent), CMS access for agreed changes, and a point person who can approve recommendations. You stay the subject-matter expert; we translate that into structure, headings, and internal links.
SEODo I have to host my WordPress site with Webitt?
No. Care plans are how many clients choose to run WordPress after we build or migrate a site, because we tune the stack and respond when something breaks. You can stay on another host if you accept day-to-day patching and backups yourself. If you leave a plan, we help with exports, backups, and DNS so you remain in control.
Maintenance & supportDo I really need a WordPress maintenance plan?
You can self-host, but you own every security patch, backup, and update. If malware hits your WordPress site or a bad update breaks checkout, emergency fixes often start around $1,500 USD for a single incident. A WordPress care plan prevents most of that for a predictable monthly cost.
Maintenance & supportWhat happens if my WordPress website gets hacked while on your plan?
We isolate the threat, restore from a clean backup when needed, patch the vulnerability, and get you back online. On Manager and Partner tiers, malware remediation is covered under our guarantee so you are not left negotiating a separate cleanup bill.
Maintenance & supportDoes this include email hosting?
These plans cover your WordPress site, database, and files on our infrastructure. Business email such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is billed separately. We can recommend the right stack and help with DNS so everything works together.
Maintenance & supportWhat do you need from us to start a WordPress care plan?
We need admin access to WordPress, your domain registrar or DNS, and clarity on any custom plugins or checkout flows. From there we run a migration or onboarding checklist, verify backups, and turn on monitoring before pointing traffic to the new environment.
Maintenance & supportWhat is included in the 1 hour priority support?
It is time you can use each month for small content edits, troubleshooting plugin conflicts, layout tweaks inside your theme, and quick questions. Larger redesigns or new features are quoted separately so scope stays fair for everyone.
Maintenance & supportCan I cancel my WordPress maintenance plan anytime?
Yes. Plans are month to month unless we have agreed a longer term in writing. Give written notice before your next billing date and we will help export or hand off hosting details so you stay in full control.
Maintenance & supportI already have a WordPress site. How do I switch to Webitt?
We start with a short audit, schedule migration during low traffic when possible, clone and test before DNS cutover, then monitor after launch. You get a clear checklist, a rollback path from backups, and a single point of contact through the move.
